Make command not found in Mac os

    HI All ,

    Iam very newbi to Mac os.I am having makefile and source files.I want to build the source files using makefile ,But when Iam trying to run makefile using command make on the terminal, giving "make command not found "

    Plz help me in this and awaiting for reponse for the above problem

    You have to install Xcode. Then, in Xcode, go to downloads, and install the command line tools.

    "catastrophic error : cannot open source file pthread.h "

    Hi .all

    I have application .Which Iam trying to compile on MAC OS using make file.It is giving error "catastrophic error : cannot open source file pthread.h "

    Note: Iam using intel 64-bit ICC compiler(not GCC for building my application)

    Plz let me know reason and help me in this

    pthread is part of POSIX, which is supported on MAC. try /usr/include dir.
