the implementation of safari bookmarks on ipad in particular feels so superior to the clunky osx implementation.
seriously, am i doing something wrong? in ios you click your bookmarks icon and get a nice scrolling dropdown list. in osx you get taken to a whole new page. and as far as i can tell, you have to click on an item from the list on the left, and then click AGAIN on the actual bookmark.
i don't want a persistent bookmarks bar taking up screen space, just a fast access listing like on the ipad. is there some obvious trick i'm overlooking?
