Hello!

I'm thinking about buying this display for my MacBook Air and PS3:

It's native resolution is 2560x1440, and i was just wandering if the MacBook Air is capable os supporting such resolution.

Suggestions for other ecternal displays are also very welcome. It will mostly be used for internet, word editing, movies and a lot of console gaming! :)

I run a 27" Apple Cinema Display at full resolution (2560x1440) without any problems whatsoever.
 
As long as it's got displayport it should be relatively easy to get a MiniDP - DP cable and just plug it in and go :) If it uses Dual Link DVI it's a bit more complicated, but Apple do make an adapter for that:

It just means you'll lose access to a USB port as well as the Thunderbolt port on the laptop, but you get it back on the adapter.
