MBP: C2D New or CD Refurb - What is the better deal?

So now that we have seen the long awaited launch of the C2D MBP. What is the best deal?

MBP CD 2.16, 1GB, 100GB 15" for $1599 Refurb
MBP C2D 2.16, 1GB, 120GB 15" for $1999 New
MBP CD 2.16, 1GB, 120GB 17" for $2199 Refurb

I know the answer is that we should buy the best that we can afford, but what option really gives you the best bang for your buck??

Will the normal consumer notice a difference between CD and C2D when running Leopoard (when it launches)?

If they addressed the heat issue then the C2D is worth it. But if its just a C2D plopped into the old model then the refurbs are worth taking a look at because you'll probably be upgrading again in 12-18 months.

The base model of the CD MBP is selling for $1599 on Amazon.
Remmember: its new and no taxes!

I was wondering the same thing, fyi, the one on amazon is still not as good of a deal as the refurbs (i think)
