Today, I went to my local (read: 80 miles away!) and bought a 2.0GHz MBP. Yay!

Got home, opened it up, tried to power on - nothing. Plug in power, green light (ummm...) press power on, nothing. Take out battery, hold down power button for 10 seconds, put it back in, plug in, turn on and... nothing.

So, seems like I'm going back to Brum tomorrow to swap it - meaning I have to take the morning off work, and spend another £10-20 in fuel.

Any thoughts? I doubt they're going to give me any monetary compensation for it, and I doubt that I'll get any freebies, so basically I've gone from elated to grumpy :(

Yeah, will have to check it this time ;)

I bought a Mac Mini, 2 months before the Intel one came out - d'oh! Apple were nice enough to provide iLife '06 for free though - it came with '05 and I had to manually install it, but still - nice ;)
