Has anyone else with a MBP noticed that in Safari or iChat the scrolling isnt always smooth? It happens on the forums homepage (https://forums.macrumors.com/). Is anyone else seeing this? I'll have to check some of the floor models out at the Apple Store.

If I scroll using the two finger trackpad method instead of clicking/dragging on the scrollbar I don't see the choopy scrolling. It seems to have something to do with scrolling with the scrollbar.

NOTE: I just received my MBP yesterday and installed all the updates. Its a 2.0ghz with 2gb ram (I installed a kingston ram module).

I just got back from the Apple Store and all the intel Macs there (iMac and MacBook Pro) have the same scrolling problem. The 17" Powerbook was not affected.

Does anyone out there see what I'm seeing? There is a stationary horizontal line across the screen where the text is distorted when scrolling a window. It occurs in Safari when there is alot of text in the window. The main forums page here is a good example, along with the apple start page:
http://www.apple.com/startpage/

The genius I showed my laptop to agreed with me there was a problem and mentioned that there was an update coming out soon that may fix it.

Update: just downloaded and installed Camino, which is a universal binary, and it does not have the same scrolling problems. I wonder what is going on with iChat and Safari.
