Resolved Mini Display Port to HDMI Adapter,not produced anymore?

Hello all!

I am owner of a beautiful Macbook Pro mid 2010,really happy with it.
My HDMI to Mac adapter recently stop to work properly.S ometimes works fine, others I need several minutes to make it work.I tried several Macs to check if it is actually the cable not working and it seems that is the issue.
I went to Apple Store to buy a new one and I was notified by the shop assistant that the cable is out of stock.

Does anyone know anything more about it,Is it out of production since new MacBooks have HDMI port included?

They are still manufactured, but not by Apple. Most electronics shops offer at least a couple of these, just by different companies.
