So I have been using this amazing MBP for a while now and I have some questions. I have a Mac Mini that I want to use as a server but it seems that is over kill compared to having a dock with multiple hard drives.
Currently the goal is to back up files and do time machine but I don't know which is best . Would Wired ethernet be good. I kinda thinking I would have to do wired but my wireless seems fast enough
I have to get a dock though but has anyone have there machine bricked by a dock?
side not would a hub be better? for connecting a few things and use the server idea
Ultimately I want to do video editing and that would be the primary goal of this.
But could I do all of this locally with a hard drive since they are cheaper
