in Logitech control center (LCC) i changed the back and forward buttons to simulate Cmd+[ and Cmd+] when working in Firefox

ok here's the trick: in Firefox, hold either one of these 2 buttons, and scroll the wheel. the webpage you are viewing will zoom in and out.

i figured it's because the key stroke consists of the Command key, it makes it like you are holding the Cmd key and scroll. so maybe you even dont have to change the mouse's default settings in LCC to do this trick.

Not sure if this is the same thing, but on my PC, my MX would make the fonts in firefox bigger and smaller when I held down control and used the scroll wheel. Now, on my iMac holding down control and scrolling the mighty mouse actually zooms in on a part of the screen. (Don't worry, the MX will be connected to this beast very soon)
