Is there any reason why the ":apple:" Doesn't sit on the line correctly with the text??

e.g. testtesttest :apple: testtesttest

Should be...

Because the 'apple' you see on the 'Smilies' box or : apple : :apple: is actually an image (right click it). An image 'apple' is supported on every platform, you see. While the true unicode apple  is not supported on every platform.

Ahh ok. So the image is displayed by its centre? Sorry for me being dumb, i'm not too hot on web display etc.

Oh god, please remove that quote :) I fixed it now lol

It would appear that the inline style for that element makes it align from the top. So that means the top of the image sits at the top of the line and extends downwards.
