Hey Everyone,
Finally after trying my friend's 1st Gen IPOD years ago and dying for one ever since, I just bought the 5th gen 60 GB IPOD and another one for one of my employees, I cannot wait until they come in. She will be very excited as well, it's a suprise for her. Here's my questions-

I own a cleaning business. I am rough on things. (Constantly drop my cell phones etc...) I need a case for them, but I would like a clip on the case like my cell phone case.

Ear phones- I hate the ear bud head phones, comparing them to my cell phone ones. They constantly fall out of my ears. I picked up the ones for my cell that have the clip thing that goes in the back of your ear, almost like how glasses fit. I have seen many of these questions on this forum but none with the clip for the back of the ear. Anyone?

What would be a good case and headphones taking consideration into what we do for work?

I also purchased the DLO Transdock for my car, anyone have any experience with this one?

Thanks for any input.
J.

Welcome!

For cases I'd say either the Contour Showcase for 5G or the aluminium Core case. If you're in the cleaning business I'd say avoid any silicon cases - they'll just look grotty after a few minutes! The Showcase is my favourite in every way, but because it it clear polycarbonate on the front and back it'll get scratches over time. The Core removes that worry with only the screen to be concerned about. With either one you're onto a winner.

As far as the clip-on type headphones I've no experience. I nearly got a pair of Audio Technica ATH-EM7's based on looks and knowing its a good make, but I've read mixed reviews, normally around the quality of the cable cover.
Have a look here http://www.audiocubes.com/category/Headphones,+Earphones_Clip-ons.html for a good range....

Thanks so much for your input. The core, are you talking about from Core Cases? http://www.corecases.com/product.php?productid=15.
Both seem pretty good but I will probably go with the Core if the case doesn't scratch like you said.
Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the help, I ended up going with the Core Case and it is awesome. I even got a personalized thank you note from the owner which I think is pretty cool... :)
