Netflix and iMac

When using Netflix I cannot stream in HD. I can on my ATV2. Also, when using any other website that streams in HD I have no problems. Can anything be done to correct this on my end?

"Assuming" that since the iMac screen has such a high resolution and it doesn't look as HD as maybe it does on your other computer.

you should try "Archer" on netflix since it's an animated HD series.

Otherwise how are you connected to the net? Netflix detects the speed, and if you have some issues with your router it won't stream at full speed.

ok...i get it...you have to view in full screen in order to stream in HD

is a "G" router good for streaming video?? Do i need to upgrade to a "N"??

I also am streaming netflix it was seems to be a lower resolution.
