I have Seagate Momentus 7200-100GB on my MB, and it 'feels' fast-er. But also a tad warmer (middle of winter now, so it's ok) 
Seagate's coming out with the next-gen 7200s sometime next year? Since I only need HDD space for Parallels Desktop and recordings from TVmini; all my 'misc' video downloads gets backed up on external HDDs right away anyway. Although would most likely get a 160GB model as soon as it's released... I would not want to drop the speed below 5400, though.
