New iPad, screen/backlight bleeding

I just got my first iOS device since the iPhone 4.... and I've noticed it has some pretty decent backlight bleed on the right side..... it bothers me pretty badly, as I'm a stickler for panel quality on my tech. Would getting a replacement help or is this an issue I cant avoid?

I don’t recall that many forum users mentioning light bleeding, I’d try an exchange for sure.
