My friend just mentioned this to me. Is it possible to get the interface that is on the new ipod classic onto the old ipod video? Has anyone heard of this or know how? Or even if it's possible?

I'm partially wondering the same thing, is it possible but apple isn't promoting it?, i mean it would probably screw up some of the syncing and would probably be real slow but are the differences in hardware really that great that this is an impossible task?

I bet there is a way, and it would not mess up anything.

The hardware is different and it will not work with different hardware.

The idea also came from a very smart computer science major so I would think he would have a clue whether its possible or not. I think the hardware has nothing to do with it, it's the software/ framework that the ipod interface is built upon. Not to put down your idea, just my 2 cents. But who knows...
