New macbook - can't install iMovie HD (06)

Boo... my new white macbook just arrived this afternoon and I started loading up all my software.

Everything is going smooth until I click on my iMovie HD (06) installer.

It says I need iLife '08 installed. My new mac came with iLife '09. I do have my restore disks from my other mac that I 'could' load on there, but is there any way to "fool" it to installing? All my other machines (3 total) have iMovie '06 projects (many terrabytes worth... coverting home movies to dvd)

I'd like to keep them all the same just for compatibility sake at this point.
