New to OSX, security, and spyware ??

New to OSX. Where do I go to learn about firewalls, protecting against virus and spyware? I am fairly experienced with Windows security measures but no clue when it comes to the Apple World.

Spyware on a mac...

only 1 piece of software has Mac compatible spyware (sides from the cookies) and that is the disgrace that is Limewire

If you really want to be up-to-speed on OS X then buy the Panther edition of Mac OS X: The Missing Manual (by David Pogue, popular Mac author). I got it when I got OS 10.1, and it taught me quite a bit...and I've been using Macs my whole life.
