Sure, if it does indeed go on sale at the time of WWDC it will most likely be USA release only.
Jobs will say that internationally it will be available a month later, then later delay it a further month due to USA demand, making international launch August. Woohoo

Contracts for most folks aren't up until July I think. So what good does moving the date up do?

I really hope thats not true, this is ridiculous already. I've never even heard of keeping a phone exclusive, at least not for so long.
We don't know what day the keynote will be on as Apple hasn't announced that. Traditionally it is the first day,but we cant be sure.
