hi guys,

I was wondering if you could help me with the following problem. Some of my .avi files (over 600megs) can't seem to play any sound. I've tried using flip4mac, but still can't get anything in quicktime (I know everyone recommends VLC, but I want it to work through frontrow).

any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Probably a codec problem. I'd try installing Perian.
