Again, looks like folks who left from Anchorage to Louisville on UPS109 landed around 12:15am ET last night seem to have their phones cleared for imports.

Everyone else on the other 3 flights seem to be the bulk of the package and we clogged the customs system and now we're waiting another day for clearance

Thats pretty much how I see it. Funny how that happens, but when 3 planes all show up at the same time, it starts to clog the system. That one plane got in at a good time to get through customs quickly.

Anyone with a phone that's in Ontario, CA got an import scan? Mine still says delivery today (I doubt it at this point) in western PA...

Security scans, waiting for customs scans, things seem to be going well with my phone. Thought this would be over today.

Just to let you guys know, my phone has also been stuck in Louisville since 1.56AM, my delivery date was meant to be today, I contacted UPS via online chat and after being rerouted to a bunch of different people I was finally told as follows by an Apple specialist:
"Based off of the tracking details, your package will be arriving into our Kentucky UPS Location today. From that location to your home (In NYC), it will be 3 more business days in transit. You can expect your package on Friday, September 26. Your details of what you will see when you track the package through UPS.com will show you that it is Kentucky already. However, it is actually on a plane on its way"....

So we're getting back to getting close to the Oct 1 date after all!

Man, imagine how many weeks it must have taken to get here from Alaska. lol

I told him about it going from Alaska to Kentucky in a few hours and was just like "Yeah, okay, you won't see it tomorrow". I had to just laugh it off; he's a nice guy but comes to some off the wall conclusions about things.

Nah, they're idiots on that line. Not even worth calling them. It should be there tomorrow, just 1 day late. Wait until 5 pm tonight and if you don't see "Import Scan" on your tracking and a departure time soon thereafter, then it's time to complain.

Thank you! :) it was kind of hard to believe the phone could be scanned on arrival in Louisville while still up in the air somewhere...

The VAST majority of phones will leave Louisville much earlier than that, more like 5 pm tonight.

No offense (because I sincerely appreciate your insights and thoughts) but you and techie said the phones would be sorted and sent out and we should all see our phones today if our Anchorage flights hit KY last night. 'AIR is AIR' said techie (or something similar).

UPS has special plans for these iPhone deliveries and quite frankly those plans have cost them 1 customer for life: me.

If my phone is not going to be here today why do they not update the estimated delivery date. I am still stuck in KY. UGH

My phone is still sitting in Louisville. My delivery to west of Boston in Grafton, right next to major UPS hub in Shrewsbury, MA, was and is still scheduled for end of the day Thursday, September 25. I am thinking that the phone is coming from Louisville my way by truck as it is only a 14 hour drive and would still be delivered by Thursday.

And I said tech was wrong on Sunday and the phones weren't magically in the US, but still in China, I told you guys what time they would be in Louisville, and then said the vast majority would deliver Tuesday and Wednesday, with a few isolated instances trickling back to Thursday.

I'll be back gloating when these phones get an import scan in the next 1-4 hours from now and leave for your home cities at 5 pm.

I posted this last page but there were 4 planes from Anchorage to Louisville last night. The first one left much earlier than the rest UPS109 and people on that plane was cleared customs (we have a few people posting here on that plane and theirs are out for delivery)

It appears that the other 3 planes which contains the bulk of the shipments clogged the customs system (per wasabi's post) and now they are doing it manually so we have to wait another day.

The system doesn't update until the next scan, I believe. When it leaves tonight it should update and tell you delivery tomorrow.

It won't. It will get put on a plane in KY and flown to Logan. From there it will go to Shrewsbury.

I work about 15 min from Shrewsbury. If it doesn't hit "out for delivery" tomorrow when I'm home, I'm going to try and hold it there.

You guys all chose to listen to the rainbows and unicorns people who said your phones would magically fly out of a monkey's butt on Monday, but I said some would get Tuesday and most by the end of Wednesday, and you'll see by tomorrow that I'm right. :)
