It's a good scam as the majority of purchasers will be trying to unlock stolen devices which means they won't chase it up. I quite like it and hope it keeps running.

***One of the problems with the world today is that there is people like you in it that are happy to scam others***

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That was what I though first but reading your post again I completely agree with you. Let the thieving f***ers get scammed.

The scam is perpetuated because of a need, and as indicated previously a possible lack of morals, or just greed.
I am not the judge, just someone with years in the electronics and IT industry.

All
I can keep reiterating is.
IT CANNOT BE DONE.
Ever since level, 7 IOS introduction.

Apple and other global companies have the best resource brains in the world who constantly updated software to prevent possible intrusion.

The phone unlock companies originated from a need. A desire.
Albeit they cannot deliver.

It's a cash up front operation, based on the premises that something is do able.
Combined with requests for additional payments once they have you hooked.

Where people say they got the goods, it would only be unlock from a carrier network.
Which often can be done for free.

Ten years plus this one crowd has been going.

We have all made them very wealthy people.

Not personally, but the write ups seem legit for a sim unlocking company.

Suppose the difference has possibly been stated many times over the years, but Sim unlocking is pretty common practice these days. Travel overseas with no roaming costs etc.
Unlike the IMEI unlock from a Apple Cloud, or similar.
[Still only one fix, thats to remove and replace logic boards / chips] many clips on youtube showing this..

Sim is easier, and i'm sure the dodgy crowd this thread was originally based on, uses this to give an air of achieving satisfactory results for some customers.. SIM unlocks only...

The Japanese telco you mention has sold all phones since 2015 with no locks.
I read that they will unlock others for Y 3,000 fee.
They are a big player in the market, with current investments set to expand even more.

I think a sim unlock [from a dedicated network / carrier / retailer is a safe option to try.
And certainly no where near as expensive or risky. [Many you can do yourself, for free]
The IMEI is used to deliver the unlocking, normally with a link up to iTunes for apple devices.

Some can be done free, some after six months, some after contract expires.

(Because of the subsidised phone you may have received in your deal, MRO Monthly Repayment Options.
Built into the plan pricing, and the Telco obviously wants to retain you as long as they can)...

I already try the company I purchase the iPhone from (SoftBank ) but they will not unlock the iPhone for any price because they said it was purchase in 2014 and because it is an iPhone 5S, all companies in Japan will unlock iPhone 6 and up... I'll give doctorsim a try so far I haven't found any complains from anyone anywhere hope they deliver what they promise without hiding fees!

Go for it..
I just see they are doing 30% off and saying around 5 Euro for Iphones any carrier.
Its not going to break the bank if it fails.
I know in OZ they had a free unlock for Apple Iphone 5 for a while.
But the company you mentioned will do it by email, and unlock code...
Thats great..
[doublepost=1476692483][/doublepost]Just did a check.
They do NOT support Softbank and Iphone 5s
Something on their website [Softbank] about this....

I just found a crew called Ultrasnow.eu and they specialise in Softbank Japan unlocks..
maybe worth looking at??
Expensive though...$$$

Never use CC for not security sites.Prefer PayPal.

I been recently let down when Avast renewed my subscription without my permission, paypal chose to allow it. This tale is relevant to this thread:

My daughter got a new phone and gave her EE locked iPhone 6S to my son. He looked for an unlock site and came across officialiphoneunlock.co.uk on google, he read loads of customers happy reviews and thought he would give it a try, he went through the process using firefox and the price was £19.99, and the site said the unlock would be delivered the next day. so he gets an email today saying his unlock was ready and it had an extra charge of £55, they said there was a disclaimer in the checkout process. He insists there wasn't, but when he went back to the site, one had magically appeared.

https://gyazo.com/46e3294ce6e620117ac4b2b42ad46cab

the bogus price was NOT there initially and had appeared today. What my son did was using chrome and a proxy, try again with another imei, and sure enough there was no extra pricing, so I'm guessing they are using some kind of coding to make it show up after the fact.

https://gyazo.com/5aa6bcfe6e11ae236ab6ca1b9cf5ab43

I told him to ring the bank fraud department, and they said the money will be back in his account tomorrow. I got here by googling "officialiphoneunlock scam", just to illustrate to my son that looking at a ton of good reviews isn't the recommendation it appears to be, I agreed with this forum and told him that a load of positive reviews can be fabricated...

Just a word of caution;
BEWARE, officialiphoneunlock.co.uk is a SCAM. Just check all those happy customer accounts and you'll realize it's all fakes..

I also bought icloud unlock service throm them and paid 20 pounds. After a week they came back saying I have to pay another 30 pound if i want to unlock otherwise they will neither refund nor proceed further.

Also, when checked with their payment partner NOCHEX, they seemed like trying to help for few days and later come back with hidden terms and conditions page from officialiphoneunlock website, that says if we try to defame officialiphoneunlock they will take action against us and proceed with legal action and charge another 100s of pound to recover adminstration costs.

So stay away from them. I wish I had googled "officialiphoneunlock scam" before buying a service :(

And, yes they didn't accept my negative review. They only display positive reviews.

I just had a brainwave, of sorts.
I have previously expressed my comments on these individuals who have been in the deception business more than 10 years.

WHAT is Apple's take on all this.?

If they market as Officialiphoneunlock.UK, they are implying that they are Officially representing Apple IPhone. ?
LET'S see what they big guys think of these crooks.
They have the legal clout to take anyone down..
[doublepost=1479804303][/doublepost]Anyone have a good contact at Apple HQ?

So you bought a stolen phone/iPad or stole a phone/iPad and you're complaining about them.

That's a little harsh and cruel.
Individuals morals were mentioned previously.
I was in the situation where I had a cloud lock I wanted removed.
The lady was deceased.
I bought it from the family in good faith.
So, I am put into your brainless collective of being a thief...

It falls in to the same sort of thought logic where long time members take pot shots at Newbies for signing up here and then sharing their experiences with unlock scamming.

This is an open source forum.
With more than competent moderators.
Newbies are people too.
Let them have thier say..
As an electronic engineer I could easily contribute to or refute many of the other topics here.
I have shared my words with others, regards this type of purchase.
AN ICLOUD UNLOCK IS NOT POSSIBLE..
A phone unlock is completely different, and this mob quite possibly do provide you with this service.
Which I have indicated before can in many cases be done for free.
Subject to your carrier and location.
