OS X DVD writer compatiblity

Does anyone know of a good, up to date or most up to date list of dvd writers that work with OS X? Im gonna upgrade the Pioneer A04 in my MDD DP G4 Powermac, and I wonder what exactly works with not only OS X, but iApps as well
