I want to buy one of those Verizon wireless PC cards to take advantage of their wireless broadband services. I almost bought an iBook to use it. Yikes.

The Powerbook has a PC card slot but the iBook does not, is this correct?

Are there any adaptors that would enable an iBook to handle a PC card?

Thanks.

You have two options...buy a 15" powerbook...or buy a 17" powerbook. Sorry!

No adapters that I know of.

However, and this may be expensive, you can use broadband through any one of there (like 3) bluetooth phones. If you have one of those get a plan with data in it and any 'book with bluetooth and you should be able to use the phone as a wireless broadband modem without to much difficulty.
