Very creative. It's like the photographic equivalent of a Jackson Pollock painting. If light painting in water like this is your idea, you should run with it; it's a great idea.

Thank you Phrasikleia. Light painting in the water was my idea but I am sure it has been done before but I will keep doing it since I like the results.

As I was sorting through my HDDs and cleaning them I also tried LightRoom and some random images, thus I found this, which I only post, because of its colour.

I may hopefully post more often, as this is a good way to engage with my past photos again, as there are probably quite some gems buried down there (this one is not one, it is just for me to finally do it).

Enjoy the colours, or the memories of a colour.

I got a Nikon Coolpix A as a carry-around camera. Fits in the pocket and yet an APS-C sensor. This is just before Eddie Izzard came on stage in Amsterdam yesterday. Applied some noise reduction. Unfortunately no RAW support yet in Aperture :( so this is OOC jpeg.

I've only seen owls in captivity around here. This one is blind in the right eye, so it likely couldn't survive in the wild.

White Throated Tree Creeper from Saturdays walk with Fleurieu Birds at Spring Mount Conservation Park, South Australia. These birds are amazing to watch as they defy gravity, spiralling up the trunk of trees looking for tasty morsels. This one is male with the flash of rusty red by his ear.

I could have spent hours following him, hoping to get a better full body and nicely lit shot, but unfortunately had to get home for some family demands. Oh to have the new Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 for that extra light and reach... :(
