Still, better to hit the brakes. The deer may change direction.... And by doing so now you are endangering the now 4 cars behind you.
I myself accelerated to avoid having my leg crushed when a lady totaled my last E30. Then again that was also engine swapped, even if it was only 10hp more. Most cars do not accelerate quick enough, especially at highway speed to avoid something. Just use the brakes. This is why one should also not tailgate.
If that's your first car you'll remember all your life.
I think that it is fair to say most of us started out owning junk cars.

How do you like that Viper? I've seen a few for sale and was thinking about buying one.
They're fun, they're put together like crap haha! Mine was modded and put down over 800 pounds of torque to the wheels. However even stuff like the window motors started to give out at 18k miles and the rear hatch shocks gave out so the trunk lid wouldn't stay up. It wasn't just mine either, they're all kind of the same. If you want more info I'd be glad to answer questions or head over to viper alley.com or luxury4play.com
Once you go new there's no going back...I don't think I could ever go back to used for a daily driver. Weekend muscle car or toy, of course, but for a daily, you can't beat new, depreciation be damned.

Great car, the new one just doesnt look as "masculine" as the old one does, in my opinion. Test drove one last week, feels nice I think. Its excellent they managed to shave 420kg of the weight.

From that pic, it looks like he's already had it off road on the rugged terrain it was built for a few times.
Does the owner of the supra live in Waunakee? I always see a green supra tearing around in the summer.
