Hey all. I have NO clue what happened. I must have simply hit a button on the keyboard that I am unaware of, or something, but I need help.
My air looked fine but the net was running a big sluggish, so just in case I went ahead and restarted my mac, when it came back up, the screen size (desktop) is quite a bit smaller, everything looks sort of squeezed tighter to fit, and there are large black areas on the left and right sides where the desktop used to fit the entire screen, now is not filling the screen.
I have NO clue what I did...
    Can someone please help??

The first thing you're going to want to do is go into System Preferences and check to see if your screen resolution is out of whack.

    EDIT: Damn, beaten!

Thank you both!!!! That helped. I have NO clue what I touched to throw it so out of whack.
I think I have it now thanks to you. Thank you!

You can zoom in and out using command+option+= and command+option+- keys if you have that enabled in your system preferences under "Keyboard & Mouse" in the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab under "Universal Access". I have that disabled on mine.
