After a weekend of meats, I wanted a hearty veggie dish for dinner tonight.

Settled on this roasted cauliflower glazed twice in honey, Dijon mustard, and balsamic vinegar. When applying the second coating of glaze near the end it is stuffed with feta cheese, and parsley then roasted for 10 more minutes until melted.

Accompanied with a (bought) kale, and sun dried tomato pasta salad.

we visited a cool Japanese Restaurant yesterday for dinner, it is my first time to enjoy the Omakase

We also went out to a Japanese spot. Their specialty is Katsu (fried) foods. We got the one lb aged pork Tonkatsu, and the sampler with oyster, chicken, shrimp etc.

Comes with a variety of delicious sides like red miso soup with clam, and high end Japanese rice.

Japanese it is then. One of our favorite local Japanese Ramen places.

My son and I got the same bowl of Ramen this day.

Black Garlic Paitan: Char siu pork and chicken in creamy chicken broth, topped with bean sprouts, cabbage, corn, scallion, fried garlic, black garlic oil & seasoned boiled egg. Yummy!

And some of the best Deep Fried Squid/Calamari ever....

I love Japanese cuisine; actually, I have yet to find an Asian cuisine that I dislike.

Dinner last night. Roasted and falling off the bone rack of baby back ribs. Seasoned with sea salt, white pepper, garlic, and our favorite Japanese barbecue sauce. Zucchini, tomato, and shrooms, and white rice on the side.

Breakfast this morning. Home baked German Sourdough toast. 2 with organic peanut butter, organic local raw honey, and organic sliced banana. And, 2 with organic mashed avocado, sliced organic English cucumber, strips of grass fed grilled Angus ribeye, and melted Cabot Vermont's Seriously Sharp Cheddar

Had some leftover corned beef.

Smoked it for 4 hours over peach wood, then braised it for the final 50 degrees in beef stock.

Came out pretty succulent, and great smokey flavor.

Some pretty epic sandwiches incoming tomorrow.

Actually, I am weak at the knees, and salivating helplessly as I admire (and drool over) those images; there isn't an Asian cuisine I dislike, and those dishes look absolutely delicious.

You didn't list the meat you used. Looks like Pastrami maybe? Anyway, looks absolutely delicious and comforting.
