Hrm I have a lot of big purchases coming up, saving hard for them all for the new house that about to be built.
Need a new fridge/freezer. Probably a Samsung with ice maker

New washing machine, my hand-me down is far too small!

New home theatre system, Denon amp, not sure on speakers yet, previewing a bunch randomly.

New theatre couch. They're pretty cheap to my suprise, just the same cost of any other couch...

Mac mini server, with a thunderbolt DAS (still working out of this is the best option, it is expensive... I would rather just a NAS but apple tv doesn't like it :( ).

Tecom Challanger alarm/access control system. Wil be having a card reader at the front door, maybe one door inside that houses my server, safe and alarm panel. This will be fully installed by myself, since I'm a security technician n all... I want to eventually ad a camera system aswell, waiting for NVR's to go down in price. Will be also installing full data network through the house, and through the house audio with aux inputs in the rooms for easy iPod control.

And finally, a pool table!!!

Oh, and next year I want to buy a Toyota ft-86 if it's going to be as amazing as it sounds.

The only thing I will be going into debt for is the car, and my current paid off car will pay for almost half of it. Everything else will be cash.

Just get Sanyo Eneloops, same battery as the apple ones, less than half the cost.

Few things:

iPhones for the wife and myself, going to visit the Sprint store before work to see if they have any in stock... Full price but neither of us can cope with the awful Samsung android phones we have :(
24 or 26" tv for the bedroom and a 32" tv for what will soon become the mancave.

That looks really nice. One of the view nav/stereo systems I've seen where the nav actually looks like its from 2011, not 2005. Do you know can the unit be made to work with steering wheel controls? (That's one of my big question marks about upgrading my factory stereo in my 2011 CRV, but if I can keep the use of my wheel controls, I'd love something like that).

As for my near-future purchase:

Along with some decent lenses. Hopefully in a month or two.

Yes it can. I had to buy an additional accessory that plugged into my Nav and steering wheel control wires that automatically programmed the steering wheel controls for the Nav unit.

Loving it so far, just need to modify a couple more things with the Nav and i am all set. I installed it with a buddy of mine, luckily that kid had a background with installing these at circuit city before.

Post Deployment goodies

Plan on picking a ReadyNAS when I get home in the Spring as well as a few more games for my XBox I got for Christmas before the deployment. And depending on if I feel I have the extra cash to splurge before school starts the following fall, I'm gonna get the Competition Werkes Exhaust for my Triumph Daytona.
