This is from a decoration project I did last year in my bedroom.
My room is tiny, so I try and save space by having things mounted on the wall.
The pics are the room and how it was before the renovation, there's also some of the work done and then the end result.
So before then - single bed, bedside table and a random set of drawers with cr*p on!
My TV was on the wall along with my games consoles like this:
But I wanted to switch the wall it was on...
So the work begun!
Take everything off!
Fill the holes... sorry mum!
Prepare / destroy the other wall for TV mounting!
I added the sockets as they were on the other wall so they wouldn't be seen when everything was on and plugged in. I also cut 2 holes in the wall - one behind where the TV would sit and one just above the shelf where the consoles would sit. This is so the HDMI cables / scarts etc could go through, down and come out the wall to be plugged into the TV. No need to conceal any wires this way!
All that was left to do was sand the wall down that used to hold the TV, paint all the walls, get the new furniture in there (double bed win!
) and add cushions. Cushions are always good!
Here's how it ended up!
I'm now not allowed to destroy and repatch any walls... which is fair enough! Good job I'm happy with it for now ha!
