Yea. I'm in Orland too. I will be following along to see how it is resolved for you. I have been looking forward to getting Verizon for almost a year. I have 3.5 months left until my stupid Sprint contract is done. I hope that these are not the speeds that I have to look forward to.

I'm in Elmhurst, getting 16 mb down, 8 mb up on AT&T.

So what's the difference between the iPad 3 LTE and the iPhone 5? I mean, Apple got slammed in Australia over saying that the iPad 3 LTE doesn't work in AU, so they can't say it even has it.

LTE in Australia runs on 1800MHz frequency. The 3rd generation iPad uses 700/2100MHz, whilst the iPhone 5 comes in 3 different models- the one sold in Australia is compatible with the 1800MHz

My LTE speeds while at home during two tests were

116ms 13.99Mbps DL - 4.14 Mbps UL
139ms 14.44Mbps DL - 5.06 Mbps UL

I only get 1-3 bars of LTE when I'm at my house. Go downtown and it's like full 4-5 bars of LTE, so my speeds are probably crazy. Only had the 5 for less than a day so I haven't tested yet.

I work around eldridge and i10, ill post another test from around there tomorrow.

Thanks. Those are decent speeds but I've seen other posts here and around the web with ATT LTE in Houston hitting upwards of 40.

jealous of all your speeds. I'm in Miami and I've only broken 20mbps + a few times, and once I got 30mbps +. but usually i get this:

So, I hit my first LTE area today, while down near Cincinnati on business. Columbus doesn't have LTE yet, but it should be coming shortly. Thing is, if it's like Cinci's new LTE, I don't want it. Did about 10 speedtests in different locations, and the absolute BEST was 8.4 MBps down, 5.4 Mbps up.

For comparison, in Columbus on HSPA+, I'm getting between 9-12Mbps down regularly.

Ping was nice and low, though (about 80ms vs 115ms on HSPA+)

Two bars of signal. Rochester, NY. It's always this bad. I think with 5 bars strength a town over I pulled about 20Mbps and maybe a 90ms ping. All of yours are better. Is there something wrong with my phone?
