Hi.

Im adding a 2. SSD to my iMac 27" Mid 2011,
1. SSD im adding to SATA1 (6gb)
DVD/CD im adding to SATA2 (3gb)
2. SSD im adding to SATA0 (6GB)

BUT im missing sata power, what kind of connector is this !? (see red cirkel)
Or can i use Sata Power from SATA2 to power up 2. SSD and DVD/CD !?
Or do soneone know what cable im needing.

Bump

I would also like to knopw the answer on this one.

Searched all over the net and I can't find the information I need.

Wondering if the HDD power cable that is currently in there can just be plugged in to the Superdrive, but I don't know

Your current HDD should be plugged into the SATA0 slot with the proprietary power cable and standard SATA data cable. Then use standard SATA cables for the other 2 drives using SATA1 and SATA2.

SATA0 is your primary SATA port, so you shouldn't have any trouble providing you use the same cabling and just source other cables for S1&S2

So the current hdd power cable will be just a normal sata power on the drive end ? And I can plug this into an SSD or the optical drive?

Yea, on the hard drive side is the standard SATA connections so putting in an SSD will be no bother
