Preview - Bookmarks not showing up

Hi
I have a 1000 pages big PDF with bookmarks, but they are not shown in the preview application, as with every other PDF.
The PDF I'm talking about has the bookmarks definitely included, I can see them in different other programs (Acrobat professional, Goodreader on iPad for example).
Resaving in Acrobat professional (V8) did not resolve the issue?
Any ideas?

Edit: And I tried multiple macs, all show the same behaviour.

Seems I'm the first one with this problem.

Have you moved the original file to a different location on the Hard Drive.
I have had bookmarks go awol when I have done this.
