Hello. I have a 4 year old MBA. It really works fine over all.
However, I just scanned in some documents and some are 150 pages up to 500 pages. All of this is just simple black/white text
I have two copies of each. One regular scanned PDF, and the other was run thru an OCR to make it searchable.
The OCR is way too massive or something, and bogs down my MBA and will not scroll well and basically useless.
The normal ones worked ok at first, and after a few days, they too are fragile and are bogging down....
What can I do here? This is ridiculous.
I have a 1.86 Ghz, Intel Core 2 Duo, and 2g ram. Running 10.7.3
