Hi, don't have much time since i'm writing this for a friend.
The problem is, he bought a 20" iMac yesterday and today, his Messenger (6.0.1) crashed and suddently all his preferences are lost, dock, dashboard, date and time, keyboard setting, even the icons (music, movies, etc..) in the shelf in Finder are now just standard Folder Icons instead of the ones who are supposed to be there. Someone please help because he is a switcher and he's kinda losing his grip

One more thing.. (lol) whenever he tries to run Messenger now it asks for keychain authentication :O WTF?
