Problems With Ezstream

I have a Mac Mini 10.6.8 and I cannot listen to an online broadcast through ezsteam. When I click on the link to listen I get a message at the bottom that says "index.asf." When I click on that it tells me I eventually end up on a site where I need to pay $29 for Flip4Mac.

Is that my only option?
