Problems with Mail

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with Mail in OS X (10.8.2) on my late-2012 iMac.

I can't add my *********@outlook.com email address in Mail. It doesn't work. I tried to add the servers's address but it doesn't work either.

Anyone has a clue or maybe some server address that may work?

It worked as a POP account but not as an IMAP. I tried to set it like a IMAP account but it failed to connect to imap.live.com so it didn't work.

Any ideas?

Last time I looked into this for my free outlook.com account, they don't support IMAP on a desktop client.

What's the difference between a desktop and a mobile client?

I suspect they are using Exchange for the mobile clients, but I am not sure.
