OK, I'm a total n00b to FTP and a GUI girl to boot. I'm running 10.4 on a G4 tower. I'm trying to set up an FTP server so I can share some large files with friends and family.
I've installed PureFTP and set up accounts according to their documentation. The firewalls on both the mac and the DSL router have ports open for FTP and passive mode. A client can now log on to the server (as verified by server logs), but they can't find their home directory or any of the enclosed virtual folders. I'm completely lost on where to go to fix this. Help, please?
