iOS Question about buttons and SQLite

Hi all,
Is it possible to detect the color of the button in code?
In my app, I change the button's color to green. If user clicks, he gets points. But randomly, color changes to red. When red is clicked, he loses the game.
How can I detect if the color is red or green?

Also, is it possible to execute SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT INTO, etc.) in code by using SQLite?
