Hello, I have a question regarding doing minor editing of movies taken with the iPhone on the Macbook Air 11" i7.

I will be recording some training videos that will run about 1.5 hours each. The raw video itself I predict will take up about 2- 2.5GB. I do own a copy of FCP X, and can install on an MBA 11 if I get it.

Basically all I will need is to cut off some beginning and end, do a fadein/fadeout, and some titling. After that, I will need to convert it to a lower resolution FLV file for our intranet.

I've been currently taking the raw video home via USB disk and doing it on my iMac, but would the 11" Ultimate be able to handle this? I assume the simple edits wouldn't be a problem, but with the origin video taking up to 2.5GB, and the transcode to lower resolution (Less than standard def for streaming), would that be a choke on the Air?
