Hi,

Alongside a few other teething problems, I've found that the Quicktime codecs are broken now that I've installed Lion. After Effects and Premiere CS5 both have errors when importing/exporting MOV or Quicktime files, which was never a problem before. I'm fairly certain it's just the Quicktime codecs which are the problem, not the system itself.

Is there any way to reinstall Quicktime? If I chose the reinstall option from the recovery partition - will this wipe my harddrive or just replace the exisiting OSX files?

Cheers, any help much appreciated
