I want to access my laptop from my work computer and possibly vice versa if their settings allow it. What is the best way to do this? I'd like to access files, send files etc. I have been reading about Teamviewer - is that still the one to use?
Also, the volume on my Macbook Pro 2011 late edition is very low most of the time - what is the best way to enhance this? Please don't say Boom because last time I tried that I had a glitchy sound that wouldn't repair until I reinstalled the operating system, which ended up with my hard drive crashing. It is all repaired now except some files aren't restoring properly from time machine backup, but that's another question for another time.
