Hello All,

I just bought an eMac from someone and its named to they're name
(ie: Jane Doe's Computer) and I was wondering if there was any way to rename it to "Shane Eliason's Computer"

Thanks

Open System Preferences, click on Sharing, and you should be able to change your computer's name on the top.

EDIT: Eidorian beat me to it.

Thanks. It worked. That was really bugging me. :)

That would bug me too. Kinda like having a ex girlfriend come visit you at work everyday

If it were me, I'd run through the restore CDs that come with the system, they'll clean everything out and make it pristine :)
