Replacement Battery Calibration

I recently purchased a NewerTech NuPower 65Whr Battery for my 2011 13'' MBP. Someone told me that for newer batteries like this you shouldn't drain it completely and do not need to calibrate but the brochure came with the battery wants me to perform draining to death for calibration. Which one should I follow? Also, steady internet browsing will last me for about 5 hours but I was expecting it to be around 6 hours. Is this normal?

Just use it like you normally would; calibration is a thing of the past.
