I have some ideas I would like to try that involve writing a plug-in for Safari. However I'm having some problems getting started in terms of documentation on how to do this.

I'm new to the Mac world (but not programming) and I'm probably simply not looking in the "obvious" place (I've tried Googling but I just seem to get a load of - for my purposes - spurious items).

Could some kind soul please poin t me at the right starting point?

Thanks

Susan

Susan,

There are a few ways to skin this cat. Safari can load standard "Netscape" plugins. Safari also supports the more modern, next-gen, Mozilla plugin architecture.

The other option is to use an Input Manager or SIMBL to get access to Safari.

Thanks - Taking a quick look at the pointers, I think that is the start that I need.
