alright well this isn't a huge problem,and if you people here can't figure it out,I'll take the 30 minute drive to the apple store:)
sometimes when i'm playing a song on my 4g 20gb ipod the song freezes,espically if I'll put it on hold.
it doesn't happen often,but it does.
and is there anyway to get media information from a cd without connecting it to the internet and without typing it in in Itunes?

Yes, it does work. iTunes embeds the cddbid into the files it rips to enable this. It is also useful for updating data that was incorrect in the database to begin with. (Typos, etc...).
