So how many out there have the same opinion as me about the screen sizes?

Held the Samsung Galaxy s6 with the 5.1 inch screen and seemed really nice in the hand, so I think that or the 5.3 would be as well over the 5.5. 4.7 is only a bit larger than the iPhone 5s and for my eyes not good.

4.7 and 5.5 are all you are going to see. Nothing more, nothing less (at least not this year).

Do you guys think that Apple will stick with these two screen sizes for the long-term and only increase screen resolution to 1080p and 1440p in the iPhone 7?

I have iphone 6, had 4S then 5S

6+ looked way to big for my pocket so bought iPhone 6.

Had the 6 since sept and of late have been thinking about a 6+ but I doubt it'd fit in my pocket :( if apple can keep the 6 size and make the screen bigger it'd be a winner.
Another way for me would be keeping the screen size the same and making the bezels smaller so its more pocket friendly. I guess I'm waiting for iPhone 7 to see what they do.

Today I went to an Apple Store and the 6+ nolonger feels so big. Even pocketed it and surprisingly it fitted really well. I think I may try a bigger model next.
Still I wonder about running and jumping with it in my pocket. Surprised though how my perception of it has changed.

Entering 2016, a 720p on such an expensive phone is outrageously arrogant, especially given that 720p screens appeared on flagship phones in 2012!

I don't buy the battery life argument either. The iPhone 6 does not have a better battery life than other phones in its class with 2K displays, nor do other flagships struggle in their gaming performance.

I'm not going to be getting the iPhone 6S series, but will be going for the 7 series. And when I go for the 7 series, I'm getting an iPhone 7+. By then, I really hope they shrink the bezels or something. What they have now works, but it does feel like the phone is more bulky than it should be.

I'm very excited to go for the plus model next. I got the 4.7 inch this time around, but that's because this was my first iPhone (been long involved with iOS, however) and wanted to get something more "familiar". I have tried the 6 plus numerous times and it is surprisingly easy for me to use one-handed. I will keep in mind that it will be more of a challenge, and 2 handed use may be necessary at times. Anyway, I really would love to have the landscape features, as well as the much-improved battery. Oh, and the huge screen of course! Things sometimes feel cramped on my regular 6 even, and using a 6+ feels like a breath of fresh air every time.

The low resolution is the result of Apple's marketing department and "Retina". Only needing 326ppi on a 4.7" screen means it will be a lower resolution than the other devices in the market. Lower resolution displays do cause the phone to use less battery power, the reason the 6 has the same battery life as competitors is that their batteries are a higher capacity. I had a 2013 Moto X with a 4.7" 720p display, which had a 2030mAh battery (about 200 mAh larger than the 6). Yet the overall battery life was a bit worse than the iPhone. Newer phones have more room for larger batteries and use them effectively. The 6 does surprisingly well for having such a small battery.

I'd be happy with anything thats in between, 6 is getting a bit small for me but will do and the plus is too huge for me
