Hi!

Since we might possibly get the SDK release date tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to start a pool!

There won't be any winnings, but it's fun anyways.

I'll kick it off by picking tomorrow,

March 6, 2008.

Happy Guessing!

March 6th 2008. - SDK roadmap revealed and talk-through. 2 show-stopping applications revealed.
March 7th 2008. - SDK beta released to select developers.
August 7th 2008. - Full iPhone SDK released.

Just a guess, of course. ;)

August 7th!!!! I hope not.

I will be optimistic and say

March 6th - beta (for select developers) / road map
June 13th - SDK released for use

I WANT it to be finalized and out tomorrow but everyone knows that wont happnen :( Yes, i tried to estimate my predictions and it only made me see that August actually seems realistic since reports have hinted that tomorrow is an early beta (maybe even alpha) slash road map...

Tomorrow - SDK introduction, beta for devs
WWDC - Final beta preview
June 17 - Official release

March 6, 2008: FULL SDK WILL BE ANNOUNCED.
Apple shall feel my wrath.

Just a guess though. :p

Febuary 6th, SDK beta was released.

March 6th Full SDK release tons of apps available to download tomorrow on iTunes. that were written within the last month during the Beta.

Probably won't happen but I can hope and dream right? :D

Hahaha :p:eek:

I definitely agree a beta release will come out, which will allow early "developing" and actual software. Which means people with 10.5 and an iPhone or iTouch (which is a small market) will be the testers. And that means a few of us get to see what a native app will be like earlier. And since ALL apple dev. connection members get access, this is HUGE and we may see a lot of beta apps.

Then I think the final release for windows may have to wait until WWDC, along with a new iPhone and iTouch revision of some sort and the next "wi-fi" era beginning.
