Currently it is cumbersome to view Photos stored in iCloud on the iPhone because they are not downloaded for offline viewing. There are only thumbnails which are on the phone and every time one taps a photo it is first blurry and has to load the actual high-res version which takes a second or two (which is too long to enjoy flicking through photos).

Even in a city with 4G or Wifi itis quite annoying to look through photos because they first need to load, that destroys the viewing pleasure completely, what's the point of having a shared photo stream if I have to wait for every single photo to load first?!

Hence my question: Is there a way to tell the iPhone to have all full-res photos downloaded locally so I can view them in a plane / not have to wait for every photo to load?

Many thanks
