Hi,
Very favorably. A friend has the Mac Pro and yes it's a tad faster at some tasks but overall there is not a huge difference. Admittedly he only has 1 Gb of ram and I have 4 Gb.
I read somewhere that you should have 4 Gb or more to prevent a "bottle-neck"
