hello all, I have a powerbook g4, 1ghz, 12in, it has 512mb of ram, I never wanted to upgrade it cause I was waiting for a G5 powerbook or a dual core powerbook, well now since apple is moving to intel, the powerbook isn't gonna get upgraded in a major way any time soon. Now I am considering putting a 1 gig stick of ram taking my total to 1.25 gigs of ram. can you please tell me what the difference between Crucial and Apple's memory is other than the fact crucial is $320 cheaper?

Crucial

Apple

Apple over prices their RAM, becuase they know that people will add it into their computer without thinking, because the customer thinks it's better because it's from Apple. Apple can get away with it, so they charge more. There's no difference between the two. Get Crucial or even go to datamem.com. All three are the same.
